Six Sigma Services
Six Sigma is more than just a quality tool; it is about improving a company’s profitability. Did you know that 25 to 40% of sales revenue at a company with “average” levels of quality (3 sigma) is lost due to poor quality? Companies that achieve 6 sigma levels of quality lost less than 10% of sales revenue due to poor quality. Whether your company is large or small the impact on the bottom line can be substantial!

Six Sigma Project
LIFT is now offering a new service that uses the Six Sigma Methodology to lead company project teams on solving specific problems related to quality, cost, and/or cycle time. LIFT consultants are Black Belts certified by the American Society for Quality (ASQ). Six Sigma Projects are characterized by their disciplined approach and focus on financial justification. If the company cannot save money or generate new business, then the project is not initiated.

The Six Sigma Methodology has been made famous by leading U.S. companies, such as GE, Motorola, Honeywell, and Boeing and is proven to work with both small and midsize companies in all industries.

Six Sigma Training
LIFT offers complete Six Sigma training (Executive Overview, Champion, Green Belt, Black Belt) courses through the American Society for Quality (ASQ) on Long Island at heavily discounted rates, thus allowing companies considerable savings on both the cost of the training and related travel costs. ASQ instructors are certified Master Black Belts. A minimum of 10 participants is required.

LIFT can provide modified Six Sigma Training for your organization through our certified Black Belt Project Managers if this is a better fit for your schedule and budget.

ISO 9001 & AS9100 Quality Management Systems

Quality Certifications & Compliance
Have you lost existing business or failed to be considered for new business opportunities due to not being ISO 9001 certified? ISO 9001:2008
Evidence that an effective Quality Management System has been implemented and is being continually improved. Applicable to just about any type of company (manufacturing, distribution, service, etc.) in any industry. Required for all suppliers by an increasing number of customers. Can be a “differentiator” for your company if your competitors are not ISO 9001-certified.
AS9100
Encompasses ISO 9001 in addition to specific requirements for the aerospace industry. Required for suppliers by an increasing number of customers in the aerospace industry, including Northrop Grumman, Boeing, Lockheed-Martin, EDO, and BAE Systems.
TL9000
Encompasses ISO 9001 in addition to specific requirements for the telecommunications industry. Required for suppliers by an increasing number of customers in the telecommunications industry, including Nortel, Lucent, and Cisco.
ISO/TS 16949
Encompasses ISO 9001 in addition to specific requirements for the automotive industry. Supercedes QS-9000. Required for suppliers to the “Big Three” (General Motors, Ford, Daimler/Chrysler) as well as a number of Tier 2 automotive suppliers, including Visteon and Delphi.
ISO 14001
Evidence that an effective Environmental Management System has been implemented and is being continually improved. Requires many systems similar to those required for ISO 9001, though for Environmental Management as opposed to Quality Management. In fact, many companies find the ISO 14001 certification process straightforward after implementing ISO 9001 processes. Required for suppliers for an increasing number of customers in various industries, most notably those in Europe (Nokia, Philips, Siemens).
